Gary McMillan is a career banker with over 38 years of experience with Bank of Scotland. During this time, he has deepened his leadership, relationship management and corporate transactions skills. He is also a member of the Bank’s wider SME leadership team and has played a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of strategic bank initiatives.
Currently, Gary is the Area Director within the SME Coverage business based in Glasgow. In this role, he leads a team of 40 Relationship Managers and oversees a substantial portfolio of SME borrowers across a variety of sectors and locations. Gary is deeply passionate about customer service and is dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of his colleagues.
Gary exemplifies the Bank’s core values of People First, Inclusivity and Sustainability and places a strong emphasis on building relationships and collaboration.
He successfully completed a BA (Hons) in Financial Services and is a member of the Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
On a personal note, Gary is married and has two adult children.
