Why Now? Why Shanghai?
Over the last five years Glasgow Chamber of Commerce has built very strong relationships with businesses, business organisations and government departments which allows our delegates a high level of access to senior decision makers and the business community in China.
This visit will build momentum and provide opportunities and access to one of the biggest and most dynamic economies in the world. It will also provide an insight into how to do business in China and Shanghai at the China International Import Expo (CIIE), which is one of the largest trade expos in the world.
China is currently the 5th largest trading partner with UK and exports to China were worth well over £625 million. China is the world’s largest exporter and second largest importer.
This unique trade mission is designed to be multi sector in nature and provides an excellent opportunity for you to exhibit your products and services at a branded Glasgow Chamber of Commerce exhibition stand in partnership with our colleagues at the Pudong New Area district of Shanghai.
This trade mission will be relevant for SMEs/Scale-up looking to better understand the market opportunities and to export and form partnerships in Shanghai and China more generally as well as for larger businesses seeking to strengthen strategic partnerships and further their global aspirations.
