CCG (Scotland) celebrates success after projects delivered by the company collected five awards at the Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2025 (25 September).
The standout success was Water Row in Govan, developed in partnership with Govan Housing Group and Collective Architecture. The landmark regeneration was the only double-winner of the ceremony, taking home both Best Regeneration Residential and the Sustainable Community Impact Award. These latest accolades bring Water Row’s total to six awards in 2025, marking it one of Scotland’s most celebrated housing developments of the year.
Further recognition was secured for the 88-home Clydebank East - West Dunbartonshire Council’s first and largest ‘net zero ready’ residential development - which was named Affordable Housing Development of the Year.
In Motherwell, the sensitive transformation of a former YMCA Building at Brandon Street – a part conversion, part new-build development of 48 homes – for North Lanarkshire Council with Coltart Earley, earned the Best Conversion Award.
Meanwhile, in Glasgow’s Dundashill, Maltings Wynd was recognised for Innovation in Sustainable Construction and Design, reflecting igloo Regeneration’s commitment to achieving enhanced building standards and addressing climate change in the private housing sector. CCG led the construction of the 78-home development, which adopted a tailored energy and sustainability strategy developed by Carbon Futures, who accepted the award on the evening.
CCG Managing Director David Wylie, said: “These awards are a tremendous recognition of the quality and innovation delivered by CCG across a wide variety of projects. From large-scale community regeneration to the careful restoration of heritage assets, our success reflects the breadth of our capabilities, the strength of partnership working, and our unwavering commitment to sustainable, future-focused construction.
“Celebrating the very best in design, regeneration and placemaking, we thank the Herald Property Awards for Scotland for recognising the pivotal role CCG is playing in delivering all-tenure housing across the country, where we are creating great places and leaving a lasting, positive impact on our communities and the environment.”
