UK top 50 law firm Brodies LLP has been reappointed to Glasgow City Council's new Legal Services Framework to provide support in all six available lots.
A competitive tender process was run by Glasgow City Council to create a framework that can be used by many local authorities across Scotland. Brodies will provide legal services in employment law; corporate; general litigation; children and families; property; and construction.
The appointment is for four years, commencing now and running until 2029, and sees Brodies increase the range of services it provided under the previous framework from three lots to six. Brodies' reappointment has been led by local government partner Niall McLean and construction partner Jane McMonagle.
Niall McLean, said: "We are pleased to be working again with Glasgow City Council and to extend that support to other local authorities that use this framework. Increasing our services from three to six areas of law is testament to the range and quality of the advice we provide. We look forward to assisting public sector bodies in addressing key challenges and opportunities over the next four years."
