Glasgow Chamber of Commerce has launched a pioneering suite of artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives designed to empower its members and provide advanced, data-driven insights into the local economy. As part of this, it is seeking member participation, to test its new Chatbot.
These new offerings underscore the Chamber’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge technologies to benefit businesses across Glasgow and ensure members can harness the full potential of AI in their operations.
The suite includes comprehensive AI training sessions aimed at equipping Chamber members with the knowledge and skills to effectively integrate AI into their businesses. In addition, the Chamber has developed a groundbreaking AI-powered tool that allows members to instantly access answers to questions related to Glasgow’s economy. By leveraging AI, the resource will provide insights on economic trends, market conditions, and business opportunities, enhancing the support available to members.
“AI has the power to transform the way we operate and deliver value to our members,” said Stuart Patrick, Chief Executive of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. “Through these new AI-focused programmes, we’re helping Glasgow’s business community stay at the forefront of technological advancement, offering them tools to remain competitive in an increasingly data-driven world. We are still at a relatively early stage in our journey however we are excited to develop this further and in real-time as we receive feedback and refine the programmes.”
The Chamber itself is embracing AI across various internal functions to streamline operations and improve service delivery. By adopting AI-based solutions internally, Glasgow Chamber is using technology to enhance efficiency, support strategic decision-making, and deliver a more personalised experience to members.
These AI projects will be rolled out over the coming months, with registration already open for our new AI training sessions. Chamber members can look forward to an engaging experience as they explore the benefits of AI and gain valuable insights that support growth and innovation.
We are currently looking for members to help test and develop our AI Chatbot. Growth Glasgow AI is a context-aware AI chatbot system specialising in domain specific Glasgow-related information. The system provides real-time, AI-powered responses using multiple language models and information retrieval systems to provide instant answers to questions about Glasgow’s economy within a domain-specific environment.
