Passengers in Glasgow Taxis can now provide immediate customer feedback about their experience – before they’ve even left the back of the cab.
New “Glasgow Taxis Customer Feedback” signage is being rolled out for all vehicles within the fleet, containing a QR code which takes passengers directly to an easy-to-fill form where they can leave their reviews. Customers are invited to rate service, price, driver and vehicle while a further standalone question invites them to write and submit as much specific feedback as they wish.
The new form supports Glasgow Taxis’ ongoing commitment to customer service excellence, running in tandem with a “Mystery Shopper” campaign which also helps monitor and evaluate service standards and customer experience.
Dougie McPherson, Glasgow Taxis chairman, said: “This new online form makes it easier for customers to provide their feedback, giving them the ability to do this before they have even left the vehicle. The form is so easy it can be filled in less than a minute and that speed and simplicity is what consumers desire in the modern digital age.
“Why are we doing it? We care. We are aware of some reports of unethical practices within the trade and this is our robust response, to provide safeguards and reassure our customers of the standards we expect all drivers to meet. We always welcome feedback, whether that’s positive experiences we can share with those behind them, or hearing of issues and challenges which we can then review, address, and be a better organisation for dealing with them.”
The Glasgow Taxis Customer Feedback form is automatically anonymous in that when customers submit the form, it will not collect their details like name and email address unless provided. It also reminds customers: Did you know that all taxi journeys starting and finishing within the Glasgow boundary should be calculated on the taxi meter and cannot exceed that amount?
