Sustainable Scotland - Green Skills Conference, Aberdeen

With GB Energy confirmed to be headquartered in the North East of Scotland, Aberdeen continues to lead as Europe’s energy capital. But what do industry leaders want from the workforce of tomorrow?

The Scotsman's annual Green Skills conference returns with a fresh twist, kicking off a Green Series in the North East on 13th November.

This year’s conference will focus on key issues such as the balance of supply and demand, the future of green skills, the relationship between education and industry, reskilling and upskilling, and workforce retention.

Confirmed speakers include Dr. Su Bryan from the University of the Highlands and Islands, Susan Grant from North East College Scotland, Jennifer MacDonald from Shell UK, and Ricky Saez and Steph O’Donnell from SSEN Transmission.

Other notable speakers include Amy Wiggins from Skills Development Scotland, Stuart Gardiner from Hydrasun, Lisa Williamson from OEUK, Alex Spencer from Opito, and Sarah Hillyear from NESA.
