We loved hearing from Step Up to Net Zero social enterprise Enable Glasgow on Sunny G radio about the important work they do from Drumchapel to empower people with learning disabilities and also the spotlight on Charlie their Net Zero Officer who is funded via Glasgow Chamber’s Step Up To Net Zero programme.
Charlie spoke about the new Sustainability Committee he started with service users, the impact they have already had on energy usage and how staff are engaging with embedding circular economy principles into daily practice and reducing waste.
We’re also looking forward to the upcoming Garden Centre open day on Saturday 18 May which has a sustainability theme! Keep up the good work Charlie and all at Fortune Works in Drumchapel!
