Join us on International Women's Day for a delicious two course lunch and networking session at the beautiful Citation in Glasgow's City Centre with guest speaker, Sarah Heaney, President, Scottish Women in Business.
Sarah Heaney has worked at Glasgow Chamber of Commerce since 2017 in a variety of roles within their events, training, membership, and projects teams before being promoted to Membership Manager in 2021. In this role she, as you would expect, manages the membership team and is responsible for account management and recruitment of the Chamber’s Silver Partners.
She has a vast experience in both business and brand development within a range of FMCG companies. Sarah has worked with brands such as Campari, Aperol, Brockmans, Grolsch, Wild Turkey, Blue Moon and Molinari to name a few. She was the only female founding member of the Glasgow Bartenders Club, is always willing to make a hospitality recommendation and has been known to shake a cocktail or two. She is a keen motorsport fan and is a huge proponent of encouraging women and girls into STEM subjects, challenging stereotypes and showing everyone that there is #NoWrongPath to success.
Alongside work she is President of Scottish Women in Business (SWIB), building a business as an Independent Consultant with Arbonne, is a Board Director with Glad Rag Thrift, recently completed her level 6 CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing and is now undertaking her level 5 CMI Coaching & Mentoring qualification.
