Glasgow Chamber of Commerce's Members' Showcase is an event designed for Glasgow businesses, providing an opportunity to hear and interact with inspirational speakers from a variety of business backgrounds as well as to foster the community of Glasgow Chamber members.
It aims to increase engagement and improve the experience of attendees by challenging the conventional business conference model. This event will feature speakers who will each have just ten minutes to share their business story. Speakers are encouraged to take an innovative, unconventional approach to their presentation.
We look for people we think will be great presenters, but we are also looking for case studies of companies who have found success by taking a distinctive approach to a particular area of their business strategy. Feedback tells us that the best way for businesses to improve their practice is to hear from other companies who have been there, done that, and experienced success and failure.
The event will take place on Friday 20 September 2024, 09.00 am - 12.30 pm at The Social Hub, 15 Candleriggs Square, Glasgow G2 1AL.
MadeBrave
Chamber member MadeBrave recently relocated from Bridgeton to The Social Hub as the anchor tenant.
The company has reported a 39% increase in annual revenue from £4.6m to £6.4m year-on-year, with more than half of that coming from the US and EMEA markets. In the past 12 months, the creative brand agency has focused on expanding its client roster beyond the UK, attracting the likes of VELUX, KPMG and Pfizer.
The decision to move into The Social Hub is more than a relocation for the company, it’s a strategic leap. One that will help them to drive further international expansion in sectors like healthcare, finance, and FMCG. And as their anchor tenant, they will be able to tap into The Social Hub’s global network which includes a vast creative community across nearly 20 locations.
The firm is also expanding its team, welcoming a new client services director, project manager, and a creative duo – an art director and copywriter.
