Glasgow House, a series of events organised by the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Events Team, in partnership with Glasgow City Council and Glasgow Life, during the UCI Cycling World Championships, won Best Association Event at last night's E Awards in Edinburgh.
The win is a real testament to the Chamber, as everyone in the team was involved in the delivery and content generation and it is wonderful to see that work being recognised by the events industry. Glasgow House was a real celebration of the best of Glasgow businesses, innovation, sustainability and leadership - and the work the Chamber does to help business.
Our Membership Team created and delivered the popular 'Warming the Wheels' sessions every day during the Championships and ensured that every area of membership was celebrated throughout the whole programme of events.
Our Marketing and Communications Team developed an amazing brand which allowed us to compete at the elite level of event delivery with some of the city's biggest brands. The fantastic coverage and reach of our work ensured we stood out from the crowd.
