Glasgow City Council has unveiled a fresh new look for the e-card Scotland Loves Local Glasgow Gift Card, giving city businesses an easy way to reward and incentivise their people.
Featuring both national brands and independent businesses, the Glasgow Gift Card can be spent with over 1200 shops, restaurants, cafés, salons, attractions, hotels and services in the city. With one gift card, people can explore, experience and enjoy the best of Glasgow.
The new look Glasgow Gift Card features a cityscape of some of Glasgow’s most iconic buildings, like City Chambers and Glasgow Science Centre, and is available on the e-card version of the card introduced in 2023. Recipients can add the e-card to their digital wallet such as Apple or Google Pay, view participating businesses, see their balance and ‘tap to pay’ using their phone.
In 2023 Scotland Loves Local Gift Card research, 94% of organisations said supporting local was important when planning rewards and incentives. Blending ultimate local choice for teams with ease of use and support for local, the Glasgow Gift Card gives city organisations a local option for rewards and incentives, providing a tangible cash injection into the city.
