Children and young people at Kibble embraced the spooky spirit this Halloween with a range of events and activities.
Pupils at the charity’s Goudie Academy and Forest View schools enjoyed creative workshops with visual artist Tim Parfitt helping children to build sculptures for Paisley’s Halloween Festival Trail Zone.
This year’s theme was decadent décor, with Kibble kids creating translucent ghost-like figures to support the annual event. Their artwork featured as part of a walk-through experience around the Abbey, which was visible for visitors as they passed through the ‘Raven’s Realm’ section of the event.
Meanwhile, residents at Kibble’s community settings took part in a “spookiest house” competition, letting their imaginations run wild to decorate their homes as part of a Halloween haunt. Awards were given for scariest, funniest and most creative designs.
The organisation also put on its own spooky performance with a terrifying trail at its very own “Ghoul Academy” (Kibble's Gannochy Trust Centre for Expressive Arts) where staff put on fun and games as well as hot dogs and hot chocolate for young people.
Kibble also thanked the team at Aldi on Paisley Road West, Cardonald for their kind donation of pumpkins, which added the traditional splash of colour to this year’s celebrations.
