Make your Chamber network work for you.
It’s about working smarter and not harder, so here are a few ideas on how you can make the most of your membership.
First, remember there is no way for us to know what’s going on in your organisation unless you tell us! Contact the membership team to highlight your plans for the year ahead and we will advise on how we can support you with this. If you’re unsure of who to contact, then email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will let you know.
Do you have a good news story? Have you won any industry awards? Have you started trading internationally? Are you expanding or making major investment in your business? Send us your news and we will feature it on our News Section. All stories are published on the website but are also considered for inclusion in our Glasgow Business Magazine, view previous editions here.
Interested in advertising your organisation through the Chamber’s communication channels? Contact David Hughes, Commercial Manager at our partner, Connect, T: 07767 407402, E: email@example.com to find out more. Remember that as a member you have a 20% discount on advertising in our bimonthly magazine.
Have a social media marketing plan and want the Chamber to support you? Make sure to send us your social media handles so we can retweet and share your content. We have around 60,000 followers between LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and we’re always happy to share our members’ news. Make sure you tag us using the following handles:
You can also use the Chamber Member Logo on your website and marketing materials. This will be supplied when you join, or you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request it.
Your image is important! Log in to the Portal and update your company profile – description, contact details, add your logo. This is how your fellow members can get in touch with you so make sure this is up to date.
Have a look at the Directory to see who your fellow Chamber members are.
Remember the membership is for your organisation and not just yourself, so make sure you let your colleagues know that they can create their own username and password to access the portal – they can register here.
Remember that your membership allows you to tap into a ready-made network of over 1200 businesses and organisations, which can help you expand your connections across Glasgow and beyond – our network is your network!
We are here to support our members and champion Glasgow, so make sure you are using the opportunities available to you and feel free to contact us to find out what other opportunities exist through your membership.
