Travel Update - Glasgow 2026

We are officially just three weeks away from welcoming the world back to Scotland for an unforgettable 11 days of world-class sports. 

To support businesses in preparing for the Games, Glasgow 2026 has developed a Travel Demand Management (TDM) Business Information Pack.

The Games will bring changes to the transport network, as well as travel patterns, network demand and local access arrangements, particularly during peak competition periods and around key venues. These changes may affect staff commuting, deliveries, customer access and day-to-day business operations.

The purpose of this document is to:

• Provide clear information on expected transport impacts during the Games
• Help businesses understand when and where disruption may occur
• Support travel planning for employees, visitors and suppliers

To further support businesses, we will be hosting a Travel Information Session to talk through the pack and answer questions.
