Stephanie Connor is Head of HR at AC Whyte, where she leads the people strategy for a scaling construction and retrofit business, shaping how the organisation attracts, develops, and leads its people to deliver growth, performance and long-term capability.
With over a decade of experience in HR, Stephanie has operated across both operational and executive roles, building a strong track record of delivering practical, people-led solutions that drive business performance. Her experience spans the full employee lifecycle, from frontline workforce challenges through to organisational design, leadership development, and strategic workforce planning.
Stephanie brings a commercial and delivery focused approach to people leadership, aligning workforce capability, leadership performance, and organisational structure to support sustainable growth and operational delivery at scale. She plays a key role in embedding performance frameworks, strengthening leadership capability and ensuring the business is equipped to meet both current demand and future ambition.
Stephanie holds a number of influential roles across the regional skills and employability landscape. She is Deputy Chair of the Glasgow Employment and Skills Board, represents the Board at the Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Employer Forum, and leads the Youth Ambassador Programme ensuring the voice of young people is represented within the Board and strengthening connections between education, industry, and future talent.
