Rachel Hollinger, ScottishPower

Rachel Hollinger leads ScottishPower’s Early Careers strategy, shaping the organisation’s approach to attracting, developing, and retaining future talent. She oversees programmes for apprentices, graduates, and interns, ensuring they align with long-term workforce planning and ScottishPower’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and social mobility.

In addition to her early careers remit, Rachel manages the Social Projects and Sector Education team, driving initiatives that deliver social value and strengthen community engagement. This includes building partnerships with education providers and industry bodies to promote STEM learning and create accessible pathways into the energy sector. A key focus of her work is ensuring entry points exist for all young people, regardless of academic achievement - by offering a range of opportunities that develop skills and open doors to meaningful careers.

Rachel is passionate about inspiring and empowering the next generation, helping them gain the confidence and capabilities needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving energy landscape. Through her leadership, ScottishPower continues to champion inclusive talent development and play a pivotal role in supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy.
