As the Early Careers and Skills Development Lead at BAE Systems, Jessica heads up the Graduate, Higher Apprentice, and Education programmes in their Naval Ships business. Delivering initiatives that inspire and develop young talent, building a sustainable and skilled pipeline of talent for the organisation.
With vast experience working in education outreach, curriculum design, early careers and STEM, Jessica is incredibly passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their potential. Her BA Honours in Business and 10 years living and working in the United States have also helped shape and broaden her global perspective and adaptability in this dynamic and evolving world.
Most recently Jessica has successfully designed and implemented impactful education programmes that focus on skill development and career readiness. This has included collaborations with schools, colleges, and universities, tailoring curriculum solutions to industry needs, whilst mentoring young professionals as they navigate their early careers.
Jessica is also committed to fostering well-being and inclusivity in the workplace, having completed a Mental Health Practitioner qualification and she has enhanced her leadership expertise by achieving the CMI Strategic Leadership and Management qualification as she works chartership.
