Fiona joined the SEC in April 2025 as Director of People and set out enhancing its working culture and processes instantly.

With extensive experience in human resources and organisational development, Fiona has built a strong and versatile skill set through her roles with several prominent businesses in the public sector, manufacturing, logistics, media, and events.
Fiona started her career with Police Scotland as an HR Assistant and progressed through the ranks to become an HR Business Partner with Glasgow 2014 Limited, where she supported the organising committee for the Commonwealth Games.
Following the conclusion of this contract, Fiona joined the Northern Marine Group as a Senior HR Business Partner, taking ownership of the on-shore UK-wide HR team and after nearly three years in this post, took on the role of HR Operations and Projects Manager.
William Grant & Sons welcomed Fiona as an HR Business Partner and soon after that she took the opportunity broaden her experience with a seconded role as a Packaging Project Manager. Fiona then spent over four years at AG Barr as Head of HR - Central Functions & HR Operations and Head of HR Operations & Organisational Development. Following this, Fiona spent a year with DC Thomson in a senior HR role.
Fiona attended Glasgow Caledonian University where she achieved her Master of Science in Human Resource Management. At the weekend, Fiona enjoys spending time with her family.
