Silverburn welcomes Footasylum’s latest step

Popular footwear and sportswear retailer Footasylum has reopened at Silverburn, Scotland’s leading retail and leisure destination, unveiling a bigger and better store with a fresh look.

The new 9,585 sq ft store located next to New Look gives Silverburn guests even more choice, with an expanded range of trainers, clothing and accessories from popular sportswear brands.

Known for its exclusive releases and collaborations across sport, music and fashion, Footasylum has built a loyal following among style-conscious shoppers.

David Pierotti, General Manager of Silverburn said: “We are pleased to welcome Footasylum back to Silverburn with a new, larger store for our guests to enjoy.

“Footasylum’s focus on trend-led products and creating an engaging in-store experience complements our ongoing commitment to providing a best-in-class retail experience to Silverburn visitors. We are confident their return will be a big hit with our guests, further underscoring our position as Scotland’s leading retail destination.”

Conor Smith, Head of Marketing at Footasylum said: “Glasgow has always been a strong market for Footasylum. Our new Silverburn store represents an important step as we continue our rollout across the UK and beyond under Aurelius’ ownership. Investing in high-quality retail spaces remains central to our multi-brand, multi-channel strategy, and we look forward to further openings in the year ahead.”

Footasylum’s reopening builds on an exciting series of openings at Silverburn throughout 2025. Recent arrivals including H Beauty, Oliver Bonas, Jo Malone London, Kenji and Glasgow’s first Stradivarius, Pull & Bear and Bershka stores, have further strengthened the destination’s retail line-up, alongside the opening of new leisure operator King Pins last summer.
