Glasgow Airport will host its annual Jobs Fair on Wednesday 28 January 2026, offering jobseekers the chance to explore more than 500 exciting roles across the airport campus.
The ticketed-only event will take place on the first floor of the Glasgow Airport terminal from 9.30am bringing together over 28 employers from a wide range of sectors including security, retail, facilities management, catering, ground handling, and transportation.
Building on the success of last year’s event, which attracted over 2,400 attendees, this year’s fair promises to be even bigger, with recruitment teams from airport-based and associated partners ready to discuss full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.
Gavin Birch-Williams, Managing Director of Glasgow Airport, said: "Glasgow Airport is proud to be one of the region’s largest employers, and our annual jobs fair is a fantastic opportunity for people to start or grow their careers in aviation and related sectors. With several roles available across a diverse range of businesses, we look forward to welcoming jobseekers and helping them take the first step towards an exciting future."
As in previous years, employment support will be in place with translators available for Polish and Romanian jobseekers.
Attendees should bring an up-to-date CV and valid ID such as a passport or driving licence. Many roles require a full five-year checkable history due to airport security regulations, and several employers will be conducting interviews on the day.
Free parking in the Terminal’s Multi-Storey car park will be available for those who pre-register, and the First Bus 500 express service between Glasgow City Centre and the airport will also be free for registered attendees.

Six decades of serving Scotland as Glasgow Airport launches 60th year
Glasgow Airport has officially launched its 60th anniversary year, celebrating six decades since opening in May 1966 and transforming from RAF Abbotsinch, HMS Sanderling into a major international gateway.
A range of special events will take place throughout the year to honour this milestone, alongside the unveiling of a commemorative anniversary logo and an invitation for the public to share personal memories.
The airport’s history dates back even further starting in 1932 as RAF Abbotsinch, later serving as the naval base HMS Sanderling during World War II.
On 2 May 1966, Glasgow Airport opened its doors with a terminal designed by Sir Basil Spence. The first commercial flight landed that very morning, and the terminal was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 27 June.
To mark the 60th year, Glasgow Airport is looking to feature a gallery of memorabilia and community stories from passengers, staff, and local residents.
A specially created 60th anniversary logo will be displayed across the airport’s signage and digital platforms throughout the year.
Travellers and locals are invited to share their #GLA60Stories, capturing first flights, family farewells, and other special moments. Selected stories will be featured online.
Gavin Birch-Williams, Managing Director, Glasgow Airport, said: “Reaching our 60th anniversary is a moment to celebrate both our proud heritage and our ambitions for the future. We’re excited to create new memories through our events and logo, and to hear from the community whose stories have shaped our past six decades.
“We are greatly looking forward to 2026 with several new routes announced ready to start service including to New York and Toronto and some amazing European destinations for our passengers.”
