Summer Women's Networking Lunch at Trocadero's by Crossbasket Castle

Caroline Meikle, Managing Director, Pitman Training Glasgow & Edinburgh


Caroline Meikle is an accomplished business leader and Managing Director of Pitman Training Glasgow and Edinburgh, with a career spanning over three decades across leadership, operations, sales, and professional training. Renowned for her people‑focused leadership style and commercial acumen, Caroline has built a reputation for driving sustainable growth while championing skills development, wellbeing, and opportunity.

Since joining Pitman Training Scotland in 2009, Caroline has played a pivotal role in transforming the organisation’s corporate training offering, progressing from Head of Corporate Training to Director of Business Development, and ultimately Managing Director for Glasgow and Edinburgh. Under her leadership, the centres have achieved multiple accolades, including Brand Ambassador for the Pitman International Training Group. Glasgow centre 2025 won top Customer Service Award (awarded by mystery shopper) as well as Top Centre Award (2022) and Top Rebranded Centre (2021), alongside a commendation awarded in 2025 by the NHS Greater Glasgow for a Fair & Healthy workplace.

Earlier in her career, Caroline held senior leadership roles with Yell; Customer Services Director, TeleTech; Operations Director, Kwik‑Fit Financial Services; and Thomas Cook, where she led large operational teams, delivered performance turnarounds, and developed high‑performing sales and service cultures. Her background includes award‑winning sales leadership and responsibility for complex, multi‑site operations - experience that continues to shape her pragmatic, results‑driven approach today.

Beyond commercial success, Caroline is a passionate advocate for mental health, wellbeing, and lifelong learning. She is a qualified Mental Health First Aider, IOSH Managing Safely certified, and trained in coaching and therapeutic disciplines including NLP, Life Coaching, and Hypnotherapy. She regularly speaks on leadership, time management, and workplace wellbeing, and has contributed to media and industry discussions across Scotland.

At her core, Caroline believes that when people are supported, skilled, and confident, businesses thrive. Her leadership continues to shape Pitman Training’s mission to unlock potential, change lives, and equip individuals and organisations with the skills they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving world.
