All-Energy 2026 is set to welcome representatives from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero for its 25th anniversary event which takes place at the SEC Glasgow from 13-14 May 2026.
Michael Shanks MP, Minister for Energy, will deliver a keynote address at All-Energy’s opening plenary session on day one, setting out the Government’s vision for scaling industrial decarbonisation. Chris Stark CBE, Head of the UK’s Mission for Clean Power, will take to the stage on day two of the Strategic Summit opening plenary to present a keynote speech.
Anam Khan, All-Energy Event Manager at RX Global said: “We’re excited to welcome both Michael Shanks MP and Chris Stark to the stage at All-Energy 2026. With the renewable energy sector at such a critical juncture, working more closely with stakeholders and policymakers has never been more important. The Energy Minister’s attendance offers a unique opportunity for attendees to gain first-hand insight into government progress and evolving policy.”
A fresh agenda for a changing energy landscape
This year’s event will highlight the key opportunities and challenges in reaching the UK’s clean energy goals. A refreshed conference programme and new show floor features will explore the current themes facing the sector with topics including investment and finance, transmission reform, skills and workforce, supply chain and circular economy to be discussed.
Organisers RX Global has appointed a dedicated Strategic Summit committee for the first time to shape the conference programme. A total of 29 leading experts will represent different facets from across the energy sector and drive the direction of the streamlined programme.
The committee brings together high-profile leaders including Iain Sinclair, Executive Director at GES Holding; Morag Watson, Director of Onshore at Scottish Renewables; Philippa Parmiter, CEO at NECCUS; and Clare Foster, Head of Clean Energy from Shepherd and Wedderburn, alongside representatives from Siemens Energy, EDF, BEAMA, Hitachi Energy, Crown Estate and SSEN-Transmission.
Opening plenaries are scheduled for both days of the event and the agenda will reflect the breadth of the energy transition. Topical discussions will be held on every form of renewable energy, alongside decarbonising transport, heat, cities/places, industry, the supply chain and much more.
Anam continued: “This year’s event has been carefully shaped to encourage fresh thinking and the Strategic Summit Committee has been instrumental in driving a more focused programme which addresses the key topics affecting the industry today. Celebrating 25 years of All-Energy provides a moment to reflect on the progress made, but also to recognise the work still to be done. I’m excited to see deeper collaboration and more inclusive conversations across the sector, ensuring we continue to support the people, partnerships and ideas driving the UK’s energy transition forward.”
Expanding the show floor experience
The show floor has been specifically designed to encourage collaboration, and this year will unveil a range of new show floor features, including the Scale-up Zone, created in collaboration with Energy Systems Catapult, which will host small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Also new is the Mission Clean Power Lounge, delivered in partnership with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), the National Energy System Operator (NESO), GBE and UKEF.
A new Innovators Hub, brought in partnership with Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC), will provide a dedicated space for delegates to connect with start-ups, disruptors and technology pioneers shaping the future of low-carbon energy. The hub aims to help bridge the gap between innovation and real-world deployment.
To drive greater conversation, a new programme of roundtables and workshops will offer more interactive, discussion-led sessions, giving attendees the opportunity to explore key challenges in greater depth while fostering peer-to-peer learning and knowledge exchange. A total of five sessions are scheduled to cover topics including the EV transition, ocean refuel and CCUS.
Alongside these new additions, the Women in New Energy Zone, launched in partnership with Energy Voice, will create an inclusive space for connection, mentoring and collaboration, bringing together people from across the industry to share experiences and support greater diversity within the sector.
The new features will accompany the already established show floor theatres which cover key topics including Solar and Storage, Future Grid, Built Environment and Community Energy, Future Talent, Hydrogen, Innovation and Offshore and Onshore Wind and Marine Energy.
More than 300 exhibitors are expected at the event, with exhibiting organisations spanning local government authorities, consultancy services, power suppliers, software developers and OEMs. Exhibiting companies include EDF Energy, Hitachi Energy, ETZ Ltd, Schneider Electric, North Sea Transition Authority and West of Orkney Windfarm.
Strengthening the talent pipeline
Central to this year’s event will be engaging with the next generation of energy workers with a key focus on workforce development, reskilling and attracting new talent.
A dedicated Skills and STEM programme will run across the event, supported by premium partner OPITO, in addition to activity and delivery partners The Energy Transition Zone (ETZ), GB Energy, DYW and Glasgow Science Centre. The popular Skills Zone will also return, bringing together employers, educators and industry leaders to explore the training pathways and capabilities required to deliver the transition.
All-Energy will also welcome school groups from across the Glasgow City region. On Day 2, up to 300 younger students will explore the exhibition and attend sessions, while older students will take part across both days, supported by Powering Futures.
Delivered with DYW and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, and supported by SOWEC, the initiative strengthens links between education and industry while supporting regional skills pipelines.
A milestone year
This year’s event, headline sponsored by Shepperd and Wedderburn, will also feature a special Giant Networking Evening in celebration of All-Energy’s 25th anniversary. Designed to bring visitors and exhibitors together, the evening will provide an informal setting for attendees to connect, exchange ideas and expand their professional network. The celebration will offer a chance to network and reflect on All-Energy’s journey over the past 25 years.
Registration is open and tickets can be booked at www.all-energy.co.uk/gcc. A full list of speakers and the conference programme can be found on the All-Energy website.
