The countdown is on for All-Energy’s 25th anniversary event

The UK’s leading low-carbon energy and renewables event is just weeks away from opening its doors to industry leaders and policymakers for its milestone 25th year.

The event, which takes place at the SEC Glasgow from 13-14 May 2026, will highlight the key opportunities and challenges in reaching the UK’s clean energy goals. A refreshed conference programme and new show floor features will explore the current themes facing the sector with topics including investment and finance, transmission reform, skills and workforce, supply chain and circular economy to be discussed.

All-Energy 2026 will welcome representatives from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, with a keynote address from Michael Shanks MP, Minister for Energy. Chris Stark CBE, Head of the UK’s Mission for Clean Power, will also deliver a keynote speech on day two of the conference.

Organisers RX Global has appointed a dedicated Strategic Summit committee for the first time to shape the conference programme. A total of 29 leading experts will represent different facets from across the energy sector and drive the direction of the streamlined programme.

The committee brings together high-profile leaders including Iain Sinclair, Executive Director at GES Holding; Morag Watson, Director of Onshore at Scottish Renewables; Philippa Parmiter, CEO at NECCUS; and Clare Foster, Head of Clean Energy from Shepherd and Wedderburn, alongside representatives from Siemens Energy, EDF, BEAMA, Hitachi Energy, Crown Estate and SSEN-Transmission.

Anam Khan, All-Energy Event Manager at RX Global said: “This year marks the first time we’ve established a Strategic Summit Committee and I’m excited to see the group add a new layer of insight and leadership to the conference programme. By convening senior decision-makers from across the industry, it will ensure the agenda is not only reflective of current priorities but also responsive to what’s coming next, ultimately creating a more dynamic, informed and valuable experience for attendees.”

A focused conference programme

Opening plenaries are scheduled for both days of the event and the agenda will reflect the breadth of the energy transition. Topical discussions will be held on every form of renewable energy, alongside decarbonising transport, heat, cities/places, industry, the supply chain and much more.

Programme highlights include ‘De-Risking Energy Transition: Financing Critical Energy Infrastructure’ which will discuss how public funding, regulation and private investment work together to de-risk early-stage projects and deliver essential net-zero infrastructure efficiently, while ensuring energy systems remain secure, affordable and regionally inclusive. It will draw on real-world examples, what models best support innovation, accelerate delivery and drive local economic growth. Panellists include Clare Foster, Head of Clean Energy and Partner at Shepherd and Wedderburn LLP and Monika Paplaczyk, Chief Investment Officer at Thrive Renewables.

A collaborative show floor

The All-Energy 2026 show floor will also introduce brand new features including the Scale-up Zone, an area facilitated in collaboration with the Energy Systems Catapult where up to 15 small and media enterprises (SMEs) will be present, and the Mission Clean Power Lounge that is delivered in partnership with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), the National Energy System Operator (NESO) GBE and UKEF.

In response to the growing solar sector, a dedicated Solar and Storage theatre will appear on the show floor for the first time, joining six established show floor theatres:

  • Future Grid
  • Built Environment and Community Energy
  • Future Talent
  • Hydrogen
  • Innovation
  • Offshore and Onshore Wind and Marine Energy

More than 300 exhibitors are expected at the event and space on the show floor is already over 85% sold, with exhibiting companies encompassing Hitachi Energy, SSEN, Schneider Electric, Enercon and Nordex.

This year’s show floor will introduce a range of new features designed to encourage collaboration and showcase innovation across the sector. At the heart of this is the new Innovators Hub, delivered in partnership with Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC), which will provide a dedicated space for delegates to connect with start-ups, disruptors and technology pioneers shaping the future of low-carbon energy. The hub aims to help bridge the gap between innovation and real-world deployment.

Building on this, a new programme of roundtables and workshops will offer more interactive, discussion-led sessions, giving attendees the opportunity to explore key challenges in greater depth while fostering peer-to-peer learning and knowledge exchange. A total of five sessions are scheduled to cover topics including the EV transition, ocean refuel and CCUS.

Alongside these new additions, the Women in New Energy Zone, launched in partnership with Energy Voice, will create an inclusive space for connection, mentoring and collaboration, bringing together people from across the industry to share experiences and support greater diversity within the sector.

Inspiring the next generation

As the energy transition accelerates, addressing workforce shortages and building the skills needed to support a rapidly evolving sector is a growing priority. Engaging the next generation of energy professionals remains a key focus to the event, with a continued focus on workforce development, reskilling and attracting new talent.

A dedicated Skills Zone will return, bringing together employers, educators and industry leaders to explore the training pathways and capabilities required to deliver the transition. Alongside this, an expanded STEM & Education Programme will give students aged 12–16 hands-on experience, industry insights and exposure to renewable energy careers. The Skills and STEM programme is supported by premium partner OPITO, in addition to activity and delivery partners The Energy Transition Zone (ETZ), GB Energy, DYW and Glasgow Science Centre.

The event will also welcome school groups from across the Glasgow City region. On Day 2, up to 300 younger students will explore the exhibition and attend sessions, while older students will take part across both days, supported by Powering Futures.

Delivered with DYW and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, and supported by SOWEC, the initiative strengthens links between education and industry while supporting regional skills pipelines.

Celebrating 25 years

This year’s event, headline sponsored by Shepperd and Wedderburn, will also feature a special Giant Networking Evening in celebration of All-Energy’s 25th anniversary. Designed to bring visitors and exhibitors together, the evening will provide a vibrant and informal setting for attendees to connect, exchange ideas and build lasting professional relationships.

The celebration will offer a chance to network and reflect on All-Energy’s journey over the past 25 years. From its early beginnings to its current position as a foundation event for the UK’s clean energy community, the anniversary highlights the event’s role in supporting collaboration, innovation and progress across the sector.

Registration is open and tickets can be booked at www.all-energy.co.uk/gcc. A full list of speakers and the conference programme can be found on the All-Energy website.
