Original cast of CBBC's Horrible Histories take to the stage at Glasgow's Theatre Royal

The Theatre Royal, Glasgow today announces an additional performance of Horrible Histories – The Concert coming to the venue from Friday 20 – Sunday 22 March 2026.

For the very first time, actors from the BAFTA Award-winning CBBC TV series will be appearing live (and dead!) on stage in a very special production. Alison Fitzjohn and Neal Foster who have been appearing in Horrible Histories stage shows for the past twenty years will be joined by TV actors Richard David-Caine, Harrie Hayes, Inel Tomlinson and Ethan Lawrence.

When William Shakespeare is asked to create the greatest show on earth, he’s already facing a tough challenge (he knows he’s good but is he that good?!) but he’s no idea how much trouble he’ll get from monstrous monarchs like King Henry VIII, Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Victoria! Things hot up when Death appears – and now Boudica and Cleopatra want to take over! Can things get any worse? Of course they can!

Horrible Histories: The Concert offers audiences of all ages the unique chance to see the amazing actors singing the sensational TV songs, including Charles II, Dick Turpin and more! Featuring a live band, led by the Horrible Histories song master Richie Webb, and a bunch of Vikings that we couldn’t stop barging through the stage door, this is one show you won’t want to miss!
