Glasgow Caledonian University seeks SME managers to review an Educational Intervention Plan to help support chronic pain at work

Are you a manager or supervisor of a company with less than 250 employees? Then we would like to hear from you!

Around 43% of people in the UK have chronic pain (pain lasting greater than 3 months) which can result in absenteeism and unemployment. Yet, research lacks interventions that help educate managers about chronic pain to help support staff with chronic pain to stay at work, a problem that appears more likely in small-to-medium sized enterprises (SMEs), companies which have less than 250 employees, and less resources than larger organisations.

Glasgow Caledonian University is conducting an online questionnaire study with managers or supervisors of SMEs to give feedback on an educational intervention to help improve knowledge of chronic pain, communication with staff members who have chronic pain and how to support staff with chronic pain to stay at work.

What will I have to do? Participation involves reading an educational plan and answering a short questionnaire about it that should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
