Please find below the restrictions relating to the World Pipe band Championships.
Roads affected and dates and times of restriction applying to all vehicles, except for an emergency service vehicle carrying out an emergency response or vehicles given permission from Glasgow City Council filming and events section.

Greendyke Street, between Turnbull Street and London Road
West Carriageway in Glasgow Green for its full length
East Carriageway in Glasgow Green for its full length
Prohibition of waiting, loading and unloading
15:00hrs on 13 August 2026 to 23:59hrs on 15 August 2026
Arcadia Street, both sides, between London Road and The Green.
Charlotte Street, both sides, between Greendyke Street and London Road.
East Carriageway, both sides between Templeton Street and The Peoples Palace.
Greendyke Street, both sides, between Turnbull Street and London Road.
James Morrison Street between London Road and St Andrews Street
Monteith Row, both sides, between Monteith Place and Greendyke St.
Templeton Street, Both sides for its entire length
The Green, both sides, between Arcadia Street and King’s Drive.
West Carriageway, both sides, between Greendyke Street and The Peoples Palace.
Reason for Restrictions
To facilitate a temporary restriction for the safety of the event and other road users.
“vehicle” unless the context otherwise requires, means a vehicle of any description and includes a machine or implement of any kind drawn or propelled along roads whether or not by mechanical power;
“emergency service vehicle” means a vehicle being used by the Police, Fire or Ambulance Services and includes blood transfer vehicles operated by the NHS.
“Prohibition to vehicle movements” applying to all directions unless otherwise stated.
