Please find below restrictions relating to Glasgow Film Festival.
Roads affected and dates and times of restriction applying to all vehicles, except for an emergency service vehicle carrying out an emergency response or vehicles given permission from Glasgow City Councils events section.
Prohibition of waiting, loading and unloading
From 16:00hrs on the 23 February 2026 until 23:59hrs on the 8 March 2026
Rose Street between Sauchiehall Street and Renfrew Street
Prohibition of vehicle movements
From 07:00hrs on the 25 February 2026 until 22:00hrs on the 25 February 2026 and
From 07:00hrs on the 8 March 2026 until 21:00hrs on the 8 March 2026

Reason for Restrictions
To facilitate a temporary restriction to allow Glasgow Film Festival to take place and for the safety of other road users and pedestrians.
“vehicle” unless the context otherwise requires, means a vehicle of any description and includes a machine or implement of any kind drawn or propelled along roads whether or not by mechanical power;
“emergency service vehicle” means a vehicle being used by the Police, Fire or Ambulance Services and includes blood transfer vehicles operated by the NHS.
“Prohibition to vehicle movements” applying to all directions unless otherwise stated.
