An urgent lane closure on the eastbound M8 on-slip at Junction 28A- A737 link (St James’ Viaduct) is required from Friday 10 April 2026 for a period of two weeks.
Traffic delays of 15 minutes are expected at peak AM and PM times.
Deck plates are required to cover the expansion joint. These are currently being procured and will arrive in around 10 days' time. The lane closure is required as a precaution in the interim.
