The Glasgow City Centre Taskforce is co-chaired by Councillor Angus Millar, (Depute Convener for Inclusive Economic Growth) at Glasgow City Council, and Stuart Patrick, Chief Executive of the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, and is a public-private partnership to support the reopening and recovery of Glasgow city centre.
The Glasgow CCTF has been working with businesses and partners to deliver initiatives to support the city centre – both at an operational and strategic level. Over £2m has been secured in the last year to fund additional activities including marketing, events, public transport incentives, property repurposing strategy development work, and additional operational resources.
The taskforce has received feedback from members regarding skills shortages and we would welcome your support by completing our survey to help us understand the issues faced by key sectors in the city centre.
