COP26 is only 3 days away, the scale and impact on transport and travel is expected to be unprecedented.
Upcoming Road Closures
Many of the roads around the main venue, the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) are now closed, including the closure of the Clydeside Expressway (A814), Clyde Arc and parts of Finnieston Street until 06:00 Monday 15th November.
There are further closures in the coming days including:
To facilitate COP26, the M8 will be subject to lane restrictions and road closures from 20:00 Saturday 30th October until 06:00 Monday 15th November. The Tradeston M8 On-slip at West Street will be closed with no access to North Street/Charing Cross. A signed diversion route will be in place from West Street to North Street, via Kingston Street, George V Bridge and the Broomielaw. Access to Bothwell Street from the M8 Eastbound at Junction 18 will remain open.
