Celebrate the end of summer with an exclusive Made By The Sea – Four Course Talisker Whisky Dinner at the muti-award winning Gamba seafood restaurant on September 22nd
The oldest single malt whisky made by to sea, is set to bring an exclusive dinner to Glasgow, as part of the World Class Glasgow Cocktail Weekend.
Made on the wind-swept, wave-crashed shores of the Isle of Skye, head chef, Derek Marshall has created an extraordinary menu to match beautiful expressions from the Talisker distillery to kick off the city’s biggest cocktail takeover.
The evening will be hosted by Diageo Single Malt Whisky Ambassador TJ Littlejohn, who will introduce expressions and drinks that's he's created to match perfectly with Derek's menu and a tasting of each course.
Guests will enjoy canapés and a Talisker apple highball on arrival, then settle down to savour some of the most exquisite seafood - from peat-smoked fish pâté, to mouth-watering Isle of Gigha halibut, fondant potato and coral creamed leeks matched with a Seaweed Sour.
Other incredible drinks to enjoy include a ‘Bee Pollen, Honey and Basil’ and the excellent Talisker 18 year old smoky masterpiece.
