BRE Scotland is set to become the latest high-profile organisation to move to Clyde Gateway, after it signed a pre-let for the second floor at the new Red Tree Magenta building.
Red Tree Magenta – which opens in December – is the first building delivered by Clyde Gateway Developments Limited at Magenta, a new 27-acre urban business park situated next to the River Clyde and M74 motorway network. Clyde Gateway Developments Limited are working in partnership with Highbridge Properties Plc to develop the remainder of the park. It is estimated that Magenta will eventually bring around 12,000 full-time jobs to the area.
BRE’s move from East Kilbride to the 7,238sq ft Red Tree Magenta office will bring 25 full-time jobs to Clyde Gateway and allow the organisation space to expand its team to an expected 50 people over the coming 18 months. It will join property management company Speirs Gumley, which is set to relocate its 70-strong team from Glasgow city centre.
This is the third Red Tree building that Clyde Gateway has delivered, with its Red Tree Rutherglen and Bridgeton experiencing exceptionally high levels of take-up for its flexible office space.
The building has been designed to recognise the growing demand for flexible workplaces and enhanced specification and services, especially among SMEs. It offers collaborative working and breakout spaces, small and medium events spaces and meeting rooms, a corporate grade fibre connection, a communal garden terrace, onsite showers and changing rooms, free parking and cycle lock facilities.
