Furniture and design specialists, Alpha Scotland, are extending their reach with a decision to occupy much larger premises in Glasgow. Formerly in the city’s West Regent Street, today sees the official opening of their state of the art office in a new 11 storey development in Finnieston with panoramic views of the Clyde.
Established two years ago, the company are marking the move with an unusual competition to win a fortnight’s residency in their contemporary and innovative space. The offer is open to all self-employed homeworkers who feel their current surroundings stifle creativity and productivity. Entrants are being asked to submit photos of their home working environment alongside a short paragraph outlining why they feel a change of scenery would be of benefit.
Alpha Scotland is owned by the Belfast-based Alpha Group. It’s Chief Executive, Paul Black, said: “The team at Alpha Scotland specialise in creating environments that encourage more effective working. We want to give someone, who wouldn’t normally get the chance, the opportunity to experience first-hand the difference this expertise makes.”
