Scottish mobile and web technology business, SwarmOnline, has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Simon Mone to the role of Client Services Manager.
Mone joins from Scottish Enterprise where he was an Innovation Specialist advising senior management teams and boards across all business sectors on aspects of R&D, innovation and commercialisation of new products.
He said: “SwarmOnline is widely recognised as a leader in Scotland’s tech sector and I’m delighted to join an ambitious company with a burgeoning reputation both here and abroad. The organisation has an impressive, blue chip client list and is at the forefront of cutting edge technology and innovative thinking.”
Mone, an economics graduate from Strathclyde University, holds post-graduate diplomas in Information Management and Information Technology with Web Technologies. He also completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Entrepreneurship Development Programme and formerly sat on the Scotland IS board representing SMEs.
