Glasgow Welcomes, a partnership of public and private sector groups, has launched its Aspiring Leaders Programme.
The first cohort of 14 delegates will learn about leadership during workshops running until May 22 2018
They will take place in classroom based sessions, hear from inspiring industry speakers and visit top city venues such as the Hydro.
Those taking part will also be given a mentor such as Murray Thomson of Blythswood Hotel and Ross Easton of the Scottish Event Campus.
The programme, supported by Skills Development Scotland, Glasgow Life and the Glasgow Welcomes Industry Champions, was open to Assistant Managers and experienced team leaders.
Craig Martin, Chairman of Glasgow Welcomes said: "The innovative new programme is a fantastic opportunity for the next generation od leaders in Glasgow and an excellent example of the sharing of best practice across the city's visitor economy.
