Loose Women go live for Glasgow’s Hospice

Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha brought TV’s Loose Women live to a Glasgow audience on Sunday 14 May when they appeared at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice’s Fizz, Jazz & Razzmatazz ladies lunch at Mar Hall hotel near Glasgow.

Nadia, The Only Way Is Essex’s James Argent and entertainer Edward Reid were special guests at the all new ladies lunch fundraising event, with host for the afternoon BBC Scotland presenter and fellow Loose Woman Kaye Adams.

“Kaye and I are the original Loose Women from the show and this is the first time we have done this outside of the studio,” said Nadia.

“It’s fantastic to meet everyone and get such a great response to our chat!

“I’m absolutely delighted to be here today. The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a wonderful charity, looking after patients and families at such a difficult time in their lives.”

Held in a marquee in the grounds of the luxury five-star resort, the highlight of the event was a Loose Women style panel chat with questions from the guests attending.

“It has been a fantastic afternoon for our new event in this fabulous location and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has come along to support the hospice,” said corporate and events fundraiser at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice Amanda Peebles.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for us. Works has started to build our new healthcare facility in Bellahouston Park, with patients moving next year.

“While all this work is going on, we continue to provide an exceptionally high standard of care to patients and families at Carlton Place, so the support we receive today is vitally important.”

The total of the £21million Brick by Brick Appeal to build a new home for Glasgow’s Hospice in Bellahouston Park has now reached £19.6m.
