The Green Light Programme is the free business improvement programme available to Glasgow Chamber of Commerce members.
The Green Light Programme uses expert help, consultancy and training to find out how efficient your business really is and identify cost saving opportunities, followed by 3 implementation workshops to help you develop a ‘Green Plan’ for your business.
‘I thoroughly enjoyed the Green Light Programme and have lots of ideas to move forward now. The course has helped me to structure my plans and has provided a starting point to roll out to my team as well as preparing the evidence required for audits.’
Green credentials help win new business and reduce your business costs.
Why your business should engage with the Green Light Programme:
This Programme is fully funded for members, offering support to the value of £1500.
The first Green Light Programme identified £100,000 in annual savings for 11 Chamber member businesses. This could result in a reduction of over 450 tonnes of carbon each year. What could your business save?
‘Participation in the Green Light Programme has helped us to develop cost-effective resource management processes and procedures, meet our legal and regulatory obligations and satisfy customer and stakeholder requirements.’
Stage 1: Baseline resource audit funded by Resource Efficient Scotland – find out how efficient you are and where your company could make savings.
Stage 2: 3x half-day group Environmental Management System development workshops, funded by Scottish Enterprise.
