Mabbett is delighted to announce that we have recently launched a training division to deliver approved environmental, health and safety training courses. The first of these courses: Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) Approved Internal EMS Auditor Course will be held in Glasgow in July 2012.
Course Overview: An integral part of operating an Environmental Management System (EMS) is checking the system that has been implemented into an organisation is operating as planned. This requirement is met through the internal audit process which provides a systematic approach to ensuring the system meets requirements and achieves continual improvement.
The IEMA Internal EMS Auditor Training provided by Mabbett is a 3-day course designed provide you with the background and skills to internally audit your organisation's EMS. Mabbett use a proven combination of theory based modules, practical exercises and continual assessment.
Course Outline:
The course is split into a number of sections to introduce delegates to the key concepts of environmental management and auditing including
- Environmental Awareness/Aspects and Impacts;
- Introduction to EMS;
- EMS Auditing;
- The Principles of Auditing;
- The Internal Audit Process;
- Environmental Legislation; and
- Further Information and Advice.
