Torch lights up Santa's day

Christmas came early for Santa when he popped into La Bonne Auberge as he got to try out the Olympic Torch for himself.
Santa was in the Glasgow restaurant to help them launch their festive menu however, as he's been a very good boy this year, he was able to get his hands on the Olympic Torch which belongs to the popular brasserie's Chef de Partie, Jordan Shane. Recently Jordan was a torchbearer when the flame visited Glasgow, so whilst his colleague, waitress Magda Rybus served Santa his lunch, Jordan kept a close eye on his Olympic torch!
This festive season, Christmas Party Lunches and Dinners start in La Bonne Auberge on Friday 30 November through until 30 December. Prices for a tasty 2 course festive party lunch are from just £19.95 per person and include a glass of bubbly on arrival, leek and potato soup with fresh chives and chestnut cream, tournedos of turkey wrapped in maple cured bacon with cranberry and apricot stuffing and red wine sauce, dauphinoise potatoes and winter vegetables and freshly brewed tea or coffee with mint creams to finish.
Mouthwatering 3 Course Christmas Party dinners are priced from £27.50 and following a Glass of bubbly, guests can enjoy warming red lentil and root vegetable broth (V) with continental parsley and cracked pepper, followed by tournedos of turkey wrapped in maple cured bacon with cranberry and apricot stuffing and red wine sauce, dauphinoise potatoes and winter vegetables or wild mushroom risotto (V) with creamy peppered leeks, asparagus and parmesan, with white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake with fresh fruits and raspberry coulis and freshly brewed tea or coffee with mint creams to finish.
And in a new move, and taking into account the fact that many businesses may need to keep an eye on costs this festive season, La Bonne Auberge is offering free hire of the adjacent Montmartre Suite, where groups of friends and colleagues (minimum 20) can enjoy their own private Christmas Drinks Party, as an alternative.
