Scotland has some of the best food and drink in the world. Our whisky is the stuff of legend, Scottish seafood is a global delicacy and innovative manufacturers are transforming traditional produce into contemporary products.

Last year food and drink exports hit a record £5.4 billion. One in five people in manufacturing currently work in the sector. If Scottish Companies are to continue to succeed internationally and at home, they need to continue to innovate - they also need the support mechanisms in place to help them succeed.

On Wednesday 5 September, Scotsman Conferences, in association with Taste Communications will host a conference which will examine the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.

The conference will hear from a range of industry experts, with the keynote address by Richard Lochhead MSP, the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and Environment.
