An art and design competition organised by St. Enoch Centre last year is in the running for two prestigious marketing awards. It's My Greener Glasgow was set up by the Centre in 2011 to encourage secondary school pupils to think creatively about environmental issues affecting the city.

The competition has been shortlisted in the Cause Related Marketing category for the ICSC SOLAL Marketing Awards, which aim to bring together the best of retail marketing across Europe and South Africa. It has also been shortlisted in the Community Relations category for the BCSC Purple Apple Marketing Awards, which reward effective shopping centre marketing within the UK shopping centre sector.

General Manager of St. Enoch Centre, Susan Nicol, said: "St. Enoch Centre is dedicated to working with the local community, and continuously looks for new ways to strengthen ties with Glasgow, whether that's through educational initiatives, community projects or the provision of first class shopping facilities."
