The Scottish Technology Showcase 2012 theme is Global Trends, Global Opportunities and represents a range of industries with a focus on innovation, collaboration and growth. The Showcase includes free entry, demos, workshops, an opportunity to keep pace with a huge range of emerging technologies, as well as the prospect of networking, sharing ideas and meeting a broad mix of key industry decision makers. Demo Zone
See, touch and interact with the latest technology innovations from the Glasgow Science Centre, Funky Moves and Dimensional Imaging. From 3D imaging to interactive cones, take some time to find out how diverse sectors such as education and gaming are using technology to enhance their business. Click here to find out more.
Keynote Arena
The 2012 Keynote Arena will enlighten participants on the latest global technology trends and opportunities. This arena is split into two sessions: Global Drivers in the morning and Global Technology Revolutions in the afternoon.
Scottish Enterprise are delighted to welcome Professor Oliver Ambacher, Director, Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid State Physics as a keynote speaker following the recent announcement of Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, Europe's largest organisation for applied research, who are creating the new Fraunhofer Centre for Applied Photonics with the University of Strathclyde.

Global Trends & Global Opportunities Workshop Zones
There are two Workshop Zones at the 2012 Showcase, each with four sessions covering various topics from manufacturing to health and wellbeing. Open from 10:40-14:40, hear from 16 industry leaders such as Scottish & Southern Energy, IBM, Freescale Semiconductors UK, GlaxoSmithKline and The Michelin Tyre Company. Matchmaking Zone
Final chance to pre-arrange your business meetings! Over 100 companies have uploaded their profiles online and are looking to find suppliers, customers and collaborators to enhance their business propositions. Funding & Support Zone
Open for the duration of the showcase, the Funding and Support Zone is an informal drop in area where you can access specialist advisers, who can provide advice and support for your business.
We want to make it easier for you to get the support you need. Along with the other public sector partners, Scottish Enterprise is working to say "Yes to Growth" and provide the help and guidance you need to explore fresh business projects.
