In 2010 Scottish food and drink exports to Russia increased by more than 24% to £54million.
As the country's market continues to expand, there are growing opportunities across all sectors including energy, engineering and infrastructure development, finance and logistics, and IT and communications.
Your Chamber is hosting a half day event on March 24 for companies currently working with Russia, or interested in opportunities there, to hear the latest developments, make new contacts, swap experiences with others doing similar things, and develop partnerships with other companies and service providers.
The event will feature morning presentations, a Q&A session, informal debate and a buffet networking lunch.
Companies who attend will receive a copy of the best-selling publication " Russia: Market Approaches" (while stocks last).
Delegates attending this event will also receive an automatic discount on the entrance fee to the award-winning business generation event: "Russia: Practical Solutions", to take place in central Birmingham in November, 2011.
Your Chamber's 'Doing Business with Russia' event takes place on Thursday 24 March at Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, 30 George Square. The event will run from 9.30am until 12.45pm with lunch provided. Numbers are limited so apply early.
