Sauchiehall Street to reopen

Following the building fire on Sauchiehall Street and subsequent road closure, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce has been informed by the City Council that the road is due to reopen today (Tuesday 5 July).
The building has now been stabilised and the contractor requires the footpath and a nearby lane for the site, allowing Sauchiehall Street to open to traffic.
