Project built on history lessons

With the lack of bank lending bringing most commercial property
development in Scotland to a standstill, it's refreshing to see a
new £80 million project rapidly taking shape on the fringes of
Glasgow city centre. The first three buildings of the Collegelands
scheme, just off High Street, will be ready by autumn, creating
90,000 sq ft of offices for Glasgow City Council, 588-bed student
accommodation by Watkin Jones, and a 1170-space multi-storey car
park.
